The houses have been taken from different parts of Wellington and combined to create the unique ‘stacked’ look that is echoed around the hills of Wellington.
“I love the beautiful old Villa’s dotted around the hills of Wellington. Each has its own character and reflects the personality of the people living in them. They are cherished and a wonderful example of early 20th century New Zealand design.”
The original artwork was completed using watercolour, ink and acrylic on watercolour paper and has been sold.
