The Old Bank Arcade is a retail and office complex on the corner of Lambton Quay and Customhouse Quay in Wellington CBD, New Zealand.

It was designed by Tomas Turnbull for the Bank of New Zealand and is located on the site of Plimmers Ark. Built by T. Carmichael, it is a brickwork shell with timber flooring, pressed metal ceilings and plaster decoration.

Artist note - “The Old Bank is an iconic part of Wellington inner city. I wanted this image to be a statement of its importance. I remember as a child watching the old Batman & Robin TV programme with my three brothers roaring with laughter. Now a cherished memory of a simpler time.”

The original artwork was completed using quality watercolours, acrylic, ink and pencil on watercolour paper and is currently for sale . ‘Old Bank Arcade’ was used for Billboards, posters and Flyers for the 2024 Paekakareki Art Show where Sarah was the guest artist.

The limited edition prints have not been altered in any way from the original painting and have been signed and numbered. This fine art print is Archival quality.
